| President |
| The President of the New England Chapter of ASHI is the chief elected officer of the Association, and presides at all meetings of
the Chapter, and its Board of Directors. The President is the primary leader and motivator of the Chapter in making sure objectives of the strategic plan are being met. |

| Vice President |
| The Vice President, in the absence of the President, shall assume duties of the President, and shall assume such other duties as are assigned by the Board of Directors. If the office of President shall become vacant, the Vice President shall automatically succeed to the office of President to fill the unexpired term. |

| Secretary |
| The Secretary is responsible for keeping the minutes of all meetings of the Board, the membership meetings and any special meetings. In the absence of the President and Vice President, the Secretary shall assume the duties of the President. |

| Treasurer |
| The Treasurer has general supervision over the fiscal affairs of the Chapter and shall report the financial standing of the Chapter to the Board of Directors with interim reports at Executive Committee or board meetings and shall make a full report at the annual meeting. The Treasurer shall serve as Chairman of the Chapter’s Finance Committee and work with the Vice President and committee to develop a draft budget that can be recommended to the Board of Directors for approval, prior to the start of the new fiscal year on January 1. |
| Directors |
| Three directors elected from the Chapter membership-at-large shall perform duties as assigned by the President and Board of Directors and will attend board meetings.

| Council of Representatives Delegates |
| The Chapter’s Council of Representatives (COR) Delegates represent the Chapter’s interests at meetings of the American Society of Home Inspectors “COR,” and sit as voting members at such meetings. Each delegate brings to the Chapter’s attention all issues that have a direct effect on the members. The senior member of the the Chapter’s delegation in attendance submits a report for publication in the Chapter’s newsletter and votes at the COR meetings.
